Sept. 12 thru the 16th - Central and Southern Maine

Sept. 12 - Pemaquid Point (#10) and Five Islands Lobster Company (#11)

Pemaquid Point Lighthouse.  Pretty cool and even visited on the annual Open Lighthouse Day.  Didn't go to the top though because the line was long.  Lots of nice views around the lighthouse!

Checking out Fort William Henry at Pemaquid Point.  A "reconstructed" fort except for the foundations here.

A fort with a view....

Another trip for lobstah....Five Islands Lobster Compay....our favorite of them all.

To cap the day off watched Sparty whip the Ducks in a great football game....
had to hold our breaths a bit at the end but a win it was!

On Sept. 13, we traveled south to a campground in Wells, Maine....the Sea-Vu Campground....
and yes it has a view of the sea!

Sept. 15 and a motorcycle ride to see the Nubble Lighthouse, south of Wells.  Really nice!

A Maine beach...lots of beaches here....some nice and sandy and long....some rocky and small....

Took a ride through Kennebunkport on Sept. 16th.

This is the Bush Estate at Kennebunkport....owned by Bush Sr. but Bush Jr. and Jeb have houses in the compound too.  Roughin' it at the "cottage"....

Our 6th and last lobster dinner in Maine....a pretty good one too at Bayley's Lobster Pound east of Biddeford.

Map for the 15th and 16th....#1 is the Bush Estate....#2 is the Nubble Lighthouse....
#3 Bayley's Lobster Pound.

Heading to Long Island New York Tomorrow Sept. 17 to visit college buddies there.  Gonna be fun pulling the fifth wheel through New York!  Then on Sunday heading out of NY for Florida so we hopefully avoid a traffic nightmare getting out of the city.
